Message	I know this is not answering your exact questions but, I noticed when changing to a Z1 short shifter that the gears feel harder to find. It may be because it eliminated the rubber bushing from shifter linkage to trans. Two of us have similiar setups and really don't like the feel. Personal prefernce here but my .02
